Middlesex County Water Polo U14s Crowned Inter-Counties Champions

Middlesex County Water Polo are delighted to announce that their U14 team have been crowned Inter-Counties Champions, following a series of outstanding performances at yesterday’s tournament.

The Middlesex side remained unbeaten throughout the competition, recording the following results:

  • Middlesex 7 – 2 Kent
  • Middlesex 6 – 3 Surrey
  • Middlesex 5 – 4 Kent
  • Middlesex 5 – 3 Surrey

The final ranking placed Middlesex in 1st place, with Surrey 2nd and Kent 3rd.

Despite the short timeframe available for trials, Middlesex fielded a competitive squad comprised solely of boys, with players drawn from Otter, WL Penguin, Barnet, and North London clubs. The team was expertly led by Coach Lele Bontempi (North London) and supported by Team Manager Claudio Palumbo.

Middlesex County ASA congratulates all the players, coaches, and supporting clubs for this excellent achievement, which highlights the growing strength of water polo within the county.
