The County Honours Ron Turner

The Late Ron Turner has been honoured posthumously with the award of the 2008 Presidents Plate given annually for Conspicous Service to the County.

Ron was a member the G.B. Water Polo Team at the 1952 and 1956 Olympics and a reserve for the 1948 Games in London.

He was a Past President of M.C.A.S.A. and had been involved in the administration of the sport at several levels for many years (a Full Obituary can be found in the Documents section of this website)

The award was presented to his widow Gill by retiring County President Ralph Shortland
